MacGregor Recruitment are specialist recruiters for the Fenestration sector. We are recruiting for a HR Manager on behalf of an established and highly successful manufacturer and supplier of windows and doors based in the Bradford /Huddersfield area of West Yorkshire.



HR Manager role:

My client firmly believe that HR sits at the very heart of all businesses and that people are what make a business what it is. An office based role working alongside a HR Manager you will have a great opportunity to not only support with ER but to help set the HR agenda for HR in the business, and support with the delivery of a wide range of HR projects that include appraisals, job descriptions, employee engagement and a new company wide training programme and more.


  • Help to develop, implement and manage a wide range of HR projects
  • Review HR policies and processes, implementing change where necessary to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Managing employee relations casework such as dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and retirement
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and best practice
  • Help migrate payroll to the HR team and work with partners on the reward strategy
  • Manage talent and succession planning and support the recruitment and selection process



Skills and Experience:

  • Previous HR generalist experience and Level 5 CIPD is essential
  • Experience gained within a fast paced manufacturing environment is essential
  • Experience of developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, change management and a solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application
  • The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational, time management, people and communication skills
  • A proactive team player with analytical, problem solving skills and a strong customer service approach
  • Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy as well as part of a team.
