Description

As Operations Controller, you will oversee and manage the financial aspects of the Operations and Logistics function, working closely with key stakeholders such as Operations Managers, Logistics Coordinators and other senior leadership members to provide financial insights and improve operational efficiency.

You will serve as a trusted advisor to these stakeholders to develop financial plans aligned with operational objectives whilst managing and coaching a small team of management accountants who all have a key focus area across logistics, warehousing and inventory.

Profile

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years' proven experience in a similar role that has had a focus on financial analysis or business partnering. My client are looking for someone who has people management experience, whether that be in your most recent role or in a previous position within finance or accounting.

You must be comfortable getting hands on with the accounting side of things initially, whilst supporting a more junior management accounts team get up to speed. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, ERP systems).

The team are extremely personable and very ambitious therefore, someone with excellent communication skills who can collaborate with others to find solutions to challenges, is essential.
