Summary
To oversee the functional delivery for the clients of the Customer Success team with functional advice and identification of key areas of improvement.
Taking responsibility for scoping issues coming from client orgs and understanding them.Write out and hand over appropriate issues to the development team. To discuss and provide roadmaps to clients with the aim of increasing the monthly engagement and managing and up skilling the team of functional consultants.
Responsibilities
Functional Design / Oversight
- Takes ownership of the requirements definition of issues raised
- Leads Detailed Design workshops, playbacks, testing and training sessions where required
- Takes ownership of the functional components of the Solution Design
- Manages junior team members
- Assists with Practice Development within Globant
- Able to work across multiple clients simultaneously
Communication
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written fashion
- Explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Able to hold technical conversations with technically minded clients
- Appropriately adapts communication style to suit the audience
- Able to constructively challenge the client and justify their own viewpoint
- Able to effectively lead difficult conversations with the client and steer towards resolution
Presentation
- Leads the design of client facing presentations and delegates ownership of elements of the presentation to team members
- Able to present in an organised, coherent fashion and adapt their presentation style to their audience
- Able to present in client facing sessions such as Design Authorities, providing clear rationale for design decisions and responding to client challenge
- Able to respond to feedback and tailor messaging Collaboration
- Establishes a collaborative environment with the team and client
Leadership
- Is a role model for junior team members and provides mentorship
- Defines roles and responsibilities for the team and enables others to take responsibility for tasks and activities
- Delegates effectively, quality assuring the configuration completed by the team
Knowledge
- Leads Globant internal initiatives such as enablement sessions, the graduate programme and mentoring
Delivery
- Takes accountability for the overall solution design and build of changes
- Actively plans design, build and test activities, working with the Head of Customer Success to identify and mitigate risk to the project
- Confident in Agile delivery
Commercial
- Adheres to administrative compliance (e.g. timesheets)
- Leads the identification and scoping/ estimation of additional scope and activities
- Supports the Solutions team with the solutioning and estimation of new opportunities and pre-sales discussions with prospective clients
Technical
- Approximately 6+ years of experience
- Experienced in leading the requirements definition and solution design for complex and/ or large engagements
- Has a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, the capabilities but also the limitations of configuration
- Certs: All certifications for Senior Consultant + Designer certs (e.g. Data Architecture and Management, Sharing and Visibility, Development Lifecycle and Deployment etc.)
