The Managing Director will sit within the Digital function and report to the Divisional CEO, managing 4 direct reports. The MD will be responsible for the health and safety, strategic growth, product development, financial performance and ultimate success of the newly formed Digital business in the UK. Our client is looking for a strong people leader who can build a high-performance culture, with previous experience in a Managing Director or Operations Director level role. You will have demonstrable scale and growth experience and have previously managed a large P&L (~20M). You will have a sound understanding and experience of risk and opportunity management as well as strong customer relationship and stakeholder management skills. You will have technical and digital knowledge and be able to relay technical information clearly to non-technical people. You must have an understanding of cloud-based platforms such as AWS, and data science knowledge is desirable.
