Key Responsibilities- Account Development: Develop and implement annual account management and sales plans for each client within your portfolio, with objectives provided.
- Client Relationship Building: Maintain regular contact and build strong relationships with key stakeholders within client organizations through visits and communications.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Record Keeping: Keep detailed electronic records for each account, including sales plans, pricing details, contracts, product ranges, forecasts, and quarterly strategic client plans, and present updates to the Director of Group Solutions and Managing Director.
- Process Adherence: Ensure adherence to company processes and regulations, consistently updating them as needed.
- Action Planning: Prepare and execute action plans in alignment with the company's code of ethics.
- Contract Negotiations: Collaborate with the Managing Director on contract negotiations and renewals in conjunction with Director of Group Solutions.
- Performance Analysis: Work with your team to conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance analyses and monthly service review packs. Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual service performance review meeting and any other ad hoc meetings.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: Maximise business potential by promoting cross-selling opportunities and driving growth in recurring revenue through networking and relationship building.
- Support to Managing Director: Provide support to the Managing Director as needed.
- Final Account Queries: Address and resolve final account queries upon contract completion, ensuring successful invoice payments and supporting the credit control team with any issues.
- Performance Reports: Deliver monthly performance and target reports to the Director of Group Solutions, covering sales, KPIs, client review meetings, debtors, and SLAs.
- Reporting and Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to produce timely reports on deadlines, costs, and customer requirements.
- Customer Concerns:
- Value Proposition: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our security solutions to clients.
- Essential Requirements: Security-related Account Director experience, account development and building relationships, capable of working with senior client directors, excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, being proficient, analytical, self-motivated, energetic, and positive, excellent verbal and written skills, excellent computer skills, organized and good planning skills, confident, credible, persuasive, and tenacious, flexible, and willing to travel.
- Desirable Requirements: Min 3 years Security Account Management experience, technical knowledge on security and fire systems.
