We're seeking an experienced Managing Director to take the helm of our thriving commercial insurance brokerage, based in the heart of Yorkshire. This is a unique opportunity to lead and integrate two distinct offices – a schemes-based business and a commercial SME division – into a cohesive, high-performing unit.

About Us:

We are a well-established insurance broker with a strong presence in the Yorkshire market, you may not of heard of us in the north due to our niche schemes business, however we are known for our commitment to providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to our clients. As we embark on our next chapter, we are looking for a Managing Director who can drive both operational excellence and sales growth, leading us to new heights.

The Role:

As Managing Director, you will:

Lead Integration: Oversee the seamless integration of our schemes-based and SME commercial businesses, ensuring synergy and operational efficiency.

Drive Sales: Spearhead sales strategies to expand our market share, boost revenue, and enhance client retention.

Operational Leadership: Streamline operations across both offices, optimizing processes and ensuring a consistent, high-quality service.

Team Growth: Build and mentor a strong, motivated team, increasing headcount to support our ambitious growth plans.

Strategic Vision: Shape and execute a long-term strategy to position the broker as a market leader in Yorkshire and beyond.

About You:

Experienced Leader: Proven success in a senior management role within the commercial insurance sector, with a deep understanding of schemes and SME business.

Sales-Focused: A strong sales orientation with a track record of driving revenue growth.

Operationally Savvy: Adept at managing and optimizing business operations, with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.

Visionary & Motivational: You have the ability to inspire and lead teams through change, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
