Our client is offering an exciting new opportunity for an Internal Sales Assistant to join and support their sales team. The role offers genuine progression, development and career prospects as well as a market leading package, including pension contribution, best in class bonus structure and annual salary reviewsResponsibilities/ Duties:

  • Supporting the sales team in managing and expanding the customer base.
  • Contacting clients and new potential customers to introduce the full range of transport and logistics services offered
  • Booking appointments from leads generated by the sales team
  • Dealing with customer queries, either by telephone or email.
  • Dealing with any problems that require escalation
  • Quoting customer rates
  • Covering emails while staff are out of the office.
  • General admin via emails

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inside sales with quotations and customer service
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
