Job DescriptionChange & Release Manager2 Year Fixed Term ContractLocation: Home / Glasgow (2 days a week on site)Salary: 49000 - 52500 ( excellent benefits including 28% pension contributions)We are working with a leading public sector organisation who are looking for a Change & Release Manager to join their Service Change Team. This is a key role where youll help shape and manage the delivery of new and enhanced business and IT services ensuring that changes are introduced seamlessly into live operations with minimal impact to users and customers.This is an initial 2 year fixed term contract.The RoleAs Change & Release Manager you will:Lead the management of changes and releases into production working with multiple senior stakeholders business units and third-party suppliers.Support a major transformation programme overseeing the transition to a new multi-supplier model ensuring releases are delivered with rigour and control.Drive the operationalisation of defined processes and tooling for change and release management.Once the Future Operating Model is embedded continue to oversee all new or changed services from scheduled releases to urgent incident-driven changes ensuring robust assessment and best-practice standards are maintained.Contribute to the development of best practice embedding continual improvement across change and release management.About YouYoull be an experienced Change & Release Manager with a passion for service excellence and demonstrable experience in:Leading change and release management in a multi-supplier outsourced model.Managing service changes and producing associated documentation and evidence.Working in large-scale transition programmes particularly in service transitions between contracts.Understanding business drivers and the impact of change/release across a complex IT estate.Applying ITIL service management principles particularly around change and release.Working knowledge of service management tooling (ServiceNow is desirable but not essential if youre willing to upskill).Skills & QualificationsITIL v3 or v4 Foundation (essential).Strong communication and influencing skills with proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and third parties.Excellent planning organisational and problem-solving skills.A customer-focused service-centric approach.Understanding of Lean Agile and DevOps principles within a service delivery model.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Land Survey,C#,C++,Civil Engineering,Lab Technology Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 49000 - 52500
