Opened in October 2015, Hilton London Bankside represents the next generation of design-led Hilton Hotels. In addition, the hotel brings a new neighbourhood eatery, OXBO Bankside to the area, alongside The Distillery, a cool and casual bar.

The hotel also features Bankside's largest and most exquisite Ballroom accommodating up to 700 guests theatre style or 500 in a banquet setting. With a private entrance, a 6-metre high ceiling, dramatic chandeliers, a balcony and sweeping marble staircase leading to the Bankside Ballroom, this is a spectacular venue for any grand celebration, fashion show, awards ceremony or corporate event.

Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager, the Personal Assistant to the General Manager will be required to maintain all matters relating to administration in a confidential, professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Management of the General Manager’s schedule;
  2. Provides administrative support to the General Manager;
  3. Check General Manager’s electronic mail system for any urgent messages and in his absence ensures matters are referred to alternative Executive Committee members for action and ensure response is made where required;
  4. Coordinates and organises regular hotel meetings and appointments;
  5. Acts as a main liaison for certain VIP guests and key internal & external contacts;
  6. Acts as a key point of contact for enquiries and queries within the Executive Office;
  7. Maintains the utmost confidentiality and discretion when handling business affairs;
  8. Prepares confidential reports and meeting minutes as required;
  9. Attends various management meetings and taking minutes of meetings, compiles and distributes them;
  10. Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management;
  11. Core Member of the Blue Energy and Culture Committee of Hilton London Bankside.
