AV Team Lead Central London (Onsite) Full-Time Permanent Are you an experienced onsite AV professional ready to step into a leadership role Rafferty Resourcing is recruiting for an AV Team Lead to oversee a high-performing onsite Audio Visual operation for a prestigious corporate environment in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced client-facing setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional AV and video conferencing support. The Role: As the AV Team Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of onsite AV support ensuring seamless operation of meeting spaces events and video conferencing systems. Youll lead mentor and coordinate a team of technicians while acting as the key onsite contact for the client. This position blends hands-on technical expertise with team leadership service excellence and client relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Lead mentor and support a team of onsite AV techniciansManage daily operations to ensure full coverage across rotating shiftsAct as the primary onsite contact for all AV services requests and escalationsOversee the setup and smooth running of meetings and corporate eventsEnsure service delivery aligns with SLAs KPIs and client expectationsPerform quality checks equipment audits and preventative maintenanceWork closely with IT facilities and external vendors on escalations and upgradesSupport new technology rollouts and provide user training where requiredEnsure compliance with all onsite health safety and security proceduresCoordinate staff rotas holiday cover and shift patternsShift Pattern: The AV team operates a rotating weekly shift pattern: 07:00 15:0008:00 16:0011:00 19:00 Flexibility is essential to provide full coverage across operational hours. Skills & Experience: Strong technical expertise across AV & VC systems (Teams Rooms Yealink Poly Crestron QSC etc.)Proven experience supervising or leading a small AV teamExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong organisational ability with a proactive solutions-driven mindsetComfortable working under pressure and managing multiple prioritiesKnowledge of AV-over-IP or basic networking principles (advantageous)Professional approachable and confident in a corporate environmentAVIXA CTS / CTS-I certification (highly desirable)If youre ready to take the next step in your AV career and want to lead an onsite team delivering world-class support wed love to hear from you.
