About the Project: Total Padel UK is leading the way in introducing Padel, a dynamic sport combining elements of tennis and squash, to the UK. Our mission is to create top quality Padel courts and facilities that not only meet the highest standards of design and functionality but also inspire communities to embrace this exciting new sport.


We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer or Construction Project Manager to lead the design and construction of a new sports facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire project from concept to completion, including drafting architectural plans, selecting and purchasing materials, hiring and managing construction crews, and ensuring the project adheres to all relevant regulations and standards.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience in sports infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing ring beams and other foundational elements critical to sports facilities.
  • Strong understanding of UK building regulations and standards, particularly in the context of sports and recreational facilities.
  • A creative and innovative approach to architectural rendering - 3D (physical or virtual) architectural rendering
  • Ability to collaborate closely with our team to tailor designs to specific client needs.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and materials is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the design and construction of a sports facility.
  • Draft architectural plans and develop project designs.
  • Select and procure building materials.
  • Hire and manage construction teams.
  • Ensure the project meets all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in designing and building sports facilities.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design and construction processes.
  • Ability to manage the entire project lifecycle.
  • Licensed architect with construction management experience is preferred.


Qualifications:


  • Licensed architect or similar qualification in construction management.
  • Experience in sports infrastructure projects (e.g., stadiums, gyms, arenas).
  • Strong project management skills, including budgeting and timeline management.
