About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Site Manager to join our Construction business in the Eastern Counties. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the activities of all site personnel, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and managing site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Leading and motivating a team of site personnel, including direct labour and subcontractors, to ensure efficient operations and adherence to the construction programme.
- Supervising and coordinating trades and subcontractors to ensure operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies and procedures.
- Identifying and notifying development areas across the team and motivating staff and colleagues to perform.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in construction management, preferably with experience working on Educational, Healthcare, Leisure, or Defence schemes between £5 and £20 million. You will have a sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and hold a CITB 5 days SMSTS, First Aid at work, or a relevant CSCS Card.
Requirements
- Education to HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation.
- CITB 5 days SMSTS, First Aid at work, or a relevant CSCS Card.
- Full UK driving licence.
