A growing engineering company specializing in the design and manufacture of engine, e-motor, powertrain, vehicle, and component test systems is seeking an Internal Sales Applications Engineer. The company serves a diverse global client base, including automotive manufacturers, first-tier suppliers, race teams, and industrial equipment manufacturers, with a growing focus on E-Vehicle technology.
We are looking for a capable, self-motivated individual to develop quotations and technical proposals. The role involves building commercial and technical relationships with clients both in the UK and overseas. Candidates should ideally have a minimum HNC/HND in an engineering discipline, with over 2 years of industry experience. An automotive background is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of products and services
- Compile costs for standard products
- Update and create technical data sheets.
Customer Engagement:
- Collaborate internally to understand customer requirements
- Potential for travel within the UK and overseas to assist in sales meetings
Pre-sales Support:
- Prepare technical proposals, quotes, and respond to RFQs
- Address customer enquiries and concerns
Relationship Building:
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
