Quality Manager

Our client, a pharmaceutical organisation is seeking a dynamic and proactive Quality Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating the quality systems for our client's site. You will play a crucial role in supporting the business in meeting all relevant quality and regulatory standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading quality investigation reports and deviations, including the CAPA plan
  • Conducting regular reviews of quality critical documents, systems, and procedures
  • Maintaining quality critical documents such as quality manuals, SOPs, and audit reports
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site
  • Acting as an internal audit team leader
  • Supporting production, warehouse, and maintenance processes to maintain quality standards
  • Assisting in high-risk routine validation activities for sterile manufacturing
  • Leading and supporting external audits from customers and regulatory authorities
  • Monitoring temperature on-site and ensuring equipment validation and verification
  • Leading HACCP teams

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of Quality Management experience within a regulated healthcare environment. You must have a solid understanding of regulations supporting healthcare product development, such as GMP, GDP, and ISO standards. Additionally, you should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and a willingness to share your knowledge and experience with others.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • At least 3 years of Quality Management experience within a regulated healthcare environment
  • Excellent understanding of regulations supporting healthcare product development
  • Proactive problem-solving skills
  • Strong team player with a focus on developing self and others
  • Knowledge of HACCP and BRC (desirable)
  • Experience working in a cleanroom environment and managing a team
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated and accountable for personal development
  • Experience in conducting internal and external audits
