**Garment Quality Control - Textiles**

**General duties of Garment Quality Control**:

- Manage the quality control process to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
- Inspect Garment after production.
- Fault Finding and reporting
- Inspect and ensure garment/fabric is not damaged.
- Touch up items with irons or steamers as needed.
- Fold, wrap, and package items as required
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Keep accurate records of production and quality control results.

**Garment Quality Control Skills and Competencies**:

- Knowledge and previous experience within similar industries preferred
- Skilful manipulation of pressing equipment and tools such as irons and steamers
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to identify fabric characteristics such as fibres, weaves, finishes, etc.
- Attention to detail to ensure quality work.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to lift and move heavy bundles of fabric.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Good communication skills.
