Global Change Facilitator

Sheffield, United Kingdom BioPhorum Full time

We work with the brightest minds in the biopharmaceutical and MedTech industries, bringing leaders and subject matter experts together to collaborate on challenges in existing and emerging topics that affect the whole industry.

A business-to-business membership organization, we are proud to work with many of the world's leading biopharma, biomanufacturing and biotech companies to share knowledge and best practice, discuss emerging trends and challenges, and drive innovation to influence the future.

Since our inception in 2004, we have acted as a catalyst for industry-changing breakthroughs, nurtured creative solutions and empowered the industry to make a real difference.

Everything we do in BioPhorum is facilitated to ensure that objectives are met and outputs are delivered, and members can leave the organizational and administrative burden of projects to us.

Our expert facilitators currently lead more than ninety initiatives involving over 7,500 subject matter experts, and as we grow at pace, we’re looking for additional facilitators to support the innovative work across a number of phorums and be our next catalysts of influential change.

Global Change Facilitators

Our Global Change Facilitators are a key part of Phorum teams to design and deliver a portfolio of workstreams that bring about lasting impact to the global BioPharma industry. We're looking for a Facilitator to join BioPhorum Quality, our newest Phorum connecting global quality leaders and subject matter experts from across the biopharmaceutical industry. The Quality Phorum is dedicated to supporting its members by addressing shared challenges and achieving substantial advancements towards key objectives including:

  • Rapidly and effectively adapting quality management policies and processes to meet incoming changes in regulation, technology and materials
  • Effective risk-management – eliminate unnecessary effort that adds little value to protecting the patient
  • Navigating compliance to new regulations

As a Facilitator in Quality, you’ll get the opportunity to connect quality leaders across the whole pharma manufacturing value chain to accelerate changes that will enable more therapies to reach more patients, safely and reliably.

Is This You?

We're seeking an enthusiastic individual who can build workstreams from the ground up, someone who sees a blank sheet of paper as an opportunity rather than a challenge. You may have previously worked in quality or compliance but more importantly it’s about understanding the most-pressing quality challenges our members are facing. Your background in process improvement will be a cornerstone in our quest to support our members to maintain quality compliance and thus protect operating licences and drive advancements through best practices and cutting-edge technology.

You’ll collaborate with analytical minds, working closely with data-driven professionals who use surveys to glean insights. Therefore, a keen eye for detail and a love for data will serve you well.

But it's not just about the numbers; your true facilitation skills will shine through as you engage with a diverse group of people. You'll use innovative tools and techniques to foster consensus and keep discussions lively and productive.

We're particularly interested if you can demonstrate:

  • Strong Project/Programme Management, coordination and meeting management skills; problem identification and resolution
  • Decisive, impactful communicator and highly effective listening skills;
  • Outstanding Facilitation skills; able to synthesise and draw conclusions with diverse audiences in predominantly virtual and some face-to-face meetings
  • Understanding of quality challenges in biopharmaceutical industry
  • Able to focus and balance vision, challenge and support with client teams; able to navigate through complex matrix organisations
  • Experienced in the demonstration of excellence in the delivery of outstanding customer value

As a fast-growing organization, our culture supports your career development and enables you to reach your maximum potential. You’ll learn and develop new skills, and be able to design a career that works for you both personally and professionally.

These are full time, home-based roles, with plenty of intellectual challenge and stretch built-in, so if you are motivated by this and feel you offer the right skills and experience, please get in touch.
