Join us and get better with every move.We are currently seeking two Knowledge Authors who will be responsible for creating editing and publishing high-quality documentation based on information provided by subject matter experts (SMEs) and other knowledge holders.An exciting opportunity where you as the successful applicant will convert complex business processes operational practices customer insight and other critical knowledge into accessible structured artefacts that will form part of the organisations permanent knowledge base.Both roles will be offered for a fixed term of 18 months to support the integration programme.ResponsibilitiesDocument knowledge articles workflows SOPs FAQs and other reference material as appropriate to the knowledge typeConduct structured interviews and workshops with SMEs and other knowledge holders.Translate technical or tacit knowledge into clear concise and usable documents.Follow templates standards and taxonomies established by the Knowledge Manager.Collaborate with Business Process Analysts to visualize processes ().Ensure all documentation is reviewed version controlled and stored in the knowledge repository.Maintain documentation quality by adhering to writing guidelines and project standards.Support updating and refreshing content to ensure knowledge is always up to date for end usersSkills Experience & BackgroundDemonstrable experience in technical writing process documentation or knowledge authoring.Experience working in large transformation transition or knowledge projects is advantageousStrong technical writing and content creation skills.Proven ability to simplify and structure complex information.Skilled in tools such as Word Visio PowerPoint and SharePoint.Strong attention to detail and adherence to templates and standards.Effective collaboration and interviewing skills.Knowledge of financial services or fleet management is desirable.Degree or equivalent experience in Communications Technical Writing or related discipline.What We Can OfferCompetitive basic salaryGenerous contributory pension scheme25 days holiday in addition to bank holidaysVolunteering days to assist in charity workSustainability InitiativesHoliday buy / sell (subject to conditions)Flexible working options availableGenerous Employee Referral Scheme (1000)EV charging points bike storage car parkingStudies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for an opportunity unless they exactly meet the criteria specified.
