Business Analyst

Join us and get better with every move.We are currently seeking two Business Analysts who will be responsible for mapping analysing and documenting critical business processes across multiple capabilities and business areas including shared service functions.As the successful applicant youll be responsible for ensuring that processes systems and other critical knowledge is accurately captured standardised and made available for business teams to utilise to ensure continuity of operations. A hugely important role you will bridge gaps between subject matter experts knowledge authors and leadership by identifying connections and dependencies between business capabilities and processes identifying stakeholders and supporting the development of training materials.Both opportunities are currently being offered for a fixed term of 18 months ResponsibilitiesWork with business leaders and SMEs to identify critical processes systems and other knowledge critical to maintaining organisational capabilitiesWork with SMEs and business teams to identify existing documented knowledge for transfer to new central knowledge repositoryFacilitate workshops and interviews to capture end to end process flowsDocument processes from a task people and system perspective using standardised templatesCreate process maps diagrams and other visual aids to aid knowledge capture and transferAnalyse processes for dependencies risk areas potential gaps and critical knowledge required to operate the processesSupport knowledge validation workshops and contribute toward the creation of the central knowledge repository. Partner with knowledge managers and authors to ensure documentation meets project standardsRecommend improvements and standardisation opportunities as knowledge is documentedTrack progress of knowledge documentation across multiple capabilities and provide reporting of status at capability level and against project milestonesAnalyse business operations to optimise ways of working and resource deployment and locationSkills Experience & BackgroundExperience as a Business Analyst or similarExperience in large-scale transformation or knowledge capture projects desirableStrong knowledge of business process modelling and documentation techniquesExperience with process tools (e.g. Visio ARIS)Evidence of strong analytical thinking and attention to detailExcellent facilitation and interviewing skillsStrong stakeholder management across multiple functionsAbility to work with both technical and non-technical SMEsKnowledge of financial services and/ or fleet management highly desirableFamiliarity with knowledge management practices advantageousWhat We Can OfferCompetitive salaryGenerous contributory pension scheme25 days holiday in addition to bank holidaysVolunteering days to assist in charity workSustainability InitiativesHoliday buy / sell (subject to conditions)Generous Employee Referral Scheme (1000)EV charging points bike storage car parkingStudies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply for an opportunity unless they exactly meet the criteria specified.
