Description

Lionsgate Contractors seek a Health & Safety Manager for an awardwinning Civil Engineering Company near Scunthorpe handling highprofile projects across the Midlands to the North of England. This role is primarily officebased with regular site visits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Policy Management: Manage and ensure the effectiveness of the Health & Safety Policy.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain HSErequired documents.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company meets all Health & Safety documentation training and qualification needs.
  • Communication: Keep Directors and Senior Managers updated on statutory obligations and health and welfare events.
  • Site Visits: Conduct formal H&S assessments during site visits.
  • Improvements: Recommend and implement safety improvements.
  • BMS Narrative: Assist in developing processes to comply with ISO updates document maintenance.
  • Accreditations: Maintain and renew necessary accreditations.
  • Join a leading construction contractor with extensive projects.
  • Participate in highprofile UK engineering projects.

Requirements
  • Requirements
    • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Health & Safety management in Civil Engineering.
    • Skills: Proficient in creating and implementing HSE practices and documents.
    • Assessment: Experienced in evaluating Method Statements Risk Assessments and Safe Working Methods.
    • Qualifications: NEBOSH NCRQ/NVQ Level 5 IOSH (essential).
