This research post sits within GCU’s Research Centre for Health (ReaCH) which comprises 10 multi-disciplinary research groups which collectively work on enhancing the lives of people with long term health conditions as well as developing and evaluating public health and lifestyle interventions.
We are seeking to appoint a full time Research Fellow/Study coordinator to the recently awarded Stroke Association funded study PRACTISE ( P e R son A lised C ommunity based T elerehab I litation post S trok E to increase rehabilitation time and improve motor recovery: a feasibility study). The successful candidate will work with the study team to primarily co-ordinate all aspects of the two centre study and ensure that study milestones are met.
You will have the leading role in planning, co-ordinating and completing the project. You should have a good knowledge of the requirements of undertaking clinical research within the NHS including governance and ethical issues.
You should have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to work well within a team but also motivated to work independently and prioritise tasks to ensure deadlines are met. You should be hardworking, organised, enthusiastic and flexible and able to take initiative as required.
