The University of Glasgow is seeking a highly skilled clinical practitioner to join our Multimorbidity PhD Programme as a Clinical PhD Research Fellow. This is a fixed-term 3-year appointment offering training, mentoring, and support to health professionals undertaking a PhD on the topic of multimorbidity.

The posts will be based in the University of Glasgow, University of Dundee, University of Edinburgh, and University of St Andrews. Our aim is to develop the next generation of leaders in multimorbidity research through identifying and developing highly skilled clinical practitioners into researchers who understand and use multidisciplinary research to answer important clinical questions.

The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a PhD and will be provided with a clinical salary commensurate with their existing NHS salary. The salary will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis, up to a maximum of £64,641 per annum.

We are looking for candidates with evidence of research or other relevant activity, such as working in policy or management. Research activity may include work undertaken as an undergraduate, holding an intercalated BSc, or participating in research including writing papers.
