Northumbria Sport are recruiting two part time Sport Assistants who will be responsible for daily operation of the building and perform a variety of customer facing roles within Coach Lane Sports Ground. The facility has both internal and external activities and is based at Coach Lane East Campus. The Sport Assistant is responsible for the daily operation of sports facilities responsible for delivering a welcoming, safe and outstanding experience for our customers. The Sport Assistant is a leading customer-facing role and will be required to undertake direct customer-facing services and operational roles as and when required. The Sport assistant will have a good knowledge of Northumbria Sport programmed activities. The positions are part time, 14.8 hours per week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Reporting directly to the Duty Manager the role will join Northumbria Sport, a core department within Campus Services. Northumbria Sport is responsible for delivering an excellent student experience through our range of sport, fitness and well being programmes.
The role will be based at Coach Lane Sports Ground

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Good understanding of Customer Service Experience requirements
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The initiative to solve problems of a practical nature
- Experience of working in a dry sports environment
