These are part time posts and the salary will be pro-rata to the number of hours worked.
4 Permanent posts - 30 hours
1 Permanent post - 15 hours
2 Fixed Term posts until 30th May - 30 hours
At Crosslet House we put the needs of our Residents first. We are committed to delivering high standards of person - centred care in our busy and Modern Home, we provide choices and independence ensuring our Residents feel safe and supported in their home.
We are looking for Dynamic and Caring, Care Assistants, to provide personal care and support to residents as directed by senior staff. To maintain a clean, fresh and homely environment, providing person centred care for individuals and groups of residents consistent with their needs through the provision of a range of duties including personal care and meaningful activities.
To support residents throughout the day to maintain their independence, assist and support them as required.
To engage and listen to Residents preferences in how they would like to be cared for. Your role will include responding to enquiries from a wide range of people, including families and health professionals.
To undertake this role effectively you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving and people skills.
We are looking for an organised individual with a positive, can-do approach and be able to work well under pressure with Senior Supports.
Experience in working in a social care environment is essential, possession of a SVQ 2 or
equivalent is desirable, however successful applicants who do not hold this qualification must demonstrate a willingness to work towards achieving this within a reasonable timescale.
