About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Care Officer to join our team at Crosslet House. As a Care Officer, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication administration.
- Compile and maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans for residents, working closely with the care team to ensure their needs are met.
- Support residents to maintain their independence and engage in meaningful activities, promoting a sense of community and social interaction.
- Respond to enquiries from families, health professionals, and other stakeholders, providing excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Experience in a social care environment, with a strong understanding of person-centred care principles.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and people skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- SVQ 3 or equivalent qualification desirable, but not essential - willingness to work towards achieving this within a reasonable timescale.
