We're looking for someone who has previous experience as a senior member of their team, or someone who is looking to take the next step in there Care career and become a senior member of the team.

As a Senior Care Specialist at Bridgewater Home Care you can expect a rewarding and varied role. Here's some of the things you might get up to, day-to-day:

- Supporting and nurturing Care Specialists
- Introducing Care Specialists to new clients
- Being a Bridgewater Buddy, where you'll shadow new Care Specialists when starting their career
- Working closely with the Registered Manager to identify training needs of Care Specialist and change of need for our clients
- Companionship visits, spending valuable time with a client
- Meetings and catch ups at your Bridgewater office with the rest of your team
- Supporting clients with household duties and light housekeeping
- Chaperoning clients to appointments, to do their weekly shop or to get out in the local community
- Providing personal hygiene care, where needed
- Being there as a caring friend to provide emotional support
- Ensuring clients are safe and comfortable, living well in the comfort of their home
- Supporting clients with their nutrition, hydration and overall well-being

We have an opportunity for a Senior Care Specialist to join the company. The position is for a fixed 20-hour contract at £13.00 per hour with the ability to gain more hours through supporting our clients with their care needs. The idea is that overtime will increase to a full-time contract as the business continues to grow and the potential for the person within this position to continue grow, develop within the business.

You will receive a week long induction programme before you start with us, this is our pre-employment assessment. This gives you all the tools you need to be a success in your new role before you go out into the community to deliver support to people in their own homes.
