An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Ruthvenfield Primary School. The role of Primary School Support Worker is now open for applications.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Support Worker. Ruthvenfield Primary School is a small rural school on the Western Edge of Perth.

The role of Support Worker will involve working across each of the classes supporting pupils and teachers to access and deliver high quality education.

The main responsibilities of the post involve providing high quality support and learning experiences to learners with a range of needs within Ruthvenfield.

This role will create opportunities for the successful candidate to contribute meaningfully to our learners' experiences, impacting positively on the pupils and their families.

This satisfying and fulfilling post involves 27.5 contracted hours of contact time with pupils Monday to Friday during school term time.

An integral aspect of the role is working outdoors in the school playground throughout the school term, including break and lunch time supervision. 

It is anticipated that interviews for this post will take place the week on commencing Monday 26 August .

The Individual

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person with good communication skills to join our highly motivated staff team, helping us to deliver the best outcomes for all children.

You will be hard working, well organised, flexible, caring and committed to improving the life of the school and the people who work in it.

You will work well as part of a team and also be able to take initiative and manage yourself, and your work, efficiently and effectively.

You will promote high standards and maintain positive partnerships. Previous experience of working with children in a school or nursery environment is essential.

You will be committed to continually enhancing knowledge and skills through working collegiately and through CPD.
