Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Pupil Support Worker to join our team at Armadale Primary School. As a key member of our Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and well-being of our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to children in relation to their individual care, health, and wellbeing, ensuring a secure and safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the ELC team to foster positive relationships and promote a supportive learning environment.
  • Support children in achieving their full potential, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans for children.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements

  • Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) is required. You will have six months from commencement to register.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A positive approach to working with children, with a focus on supporting their individual needs and promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
