Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Pupil Support Worker to join our team at Armadale Primary School. As a key member of our Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and well-being of our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general support to children in relation to their individual care, health, and wellbeing, ensuring a secure and safe learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the ELC team to foster positive relationships and promote a solution-focused approach to supporting pupils.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and maintain a professional registration.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive approach to working with children and a commitment to their individual needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Registration with the SSSC (or willingness to register within six months of commencement).
