The Role

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at our Support Centre in Swindon.

The main purpose of a Partnerships Financial Accountant is to drive forwards the Partnerships Accounting which will include owning the end-to-end process for the accounting and to provide insight/analysis into areas to improve profitability. The role will be based in Swindon, however as the role is Travel focused there will be occasional travel to London.

What you will be doing
  • Preparing monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and other financial documents.
  • Planning cycles including 3 Year Plan, Forecasts and Budget.
  • Ensuring integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
  • Weekly and monthly sales and margin analysis.
  • Evaluating profitability and recommending areas for improvement.
  • Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management.
  • Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers.
  • Line management.

What we are looking for
  • Accounting qualification - Fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
  • You'll have industry experience.
  • Be able to demonstrate use of financial systems, strong analysis skills and experience in financial accounting.
  • Have experience with balance sheets.
  • You'll be highly accountable with an attention to detail and resilience to work through issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and work with senior stakeholders.
  • Pro-active work ethic with high productivity.
