What you'll do

In the role of Reward Manager at Sainsbury's Bank, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the Reward annual plan across Sainsbury's Bank and Argos Financial Services (SBAFS). Your main responsibilities will include leading the annual pay review process, developing and delivering annual colleague bonus plans, supporting impactful colleague communications on reward matters, and providing specialist reward counsel to the broader business as needed. Additionally, you will lead on and participate in projects requiring Reward input, as the subject matter expert, as well as contributing to the executive remuneration agenda. You will also provide advice on pension, benefits, and share plans, manage regulatory reporting requirements, and participate in market surveys and benchmarking. As the Deputy for the Head of Reward, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overall success of the Reward function while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.

Who you are

As a Reward Manager for Sainsbury's Bank, you are a highly knowledgeable professional with a deep understanding of reward processes and practices, with particular expertise in annual pay review and bonus processes. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, backed by proficiency in Excel and HR management systems, enable you to interpret large volumes of data and provide valuable insights. With excellent communication and influencing skills, you effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve buy-in to strategies and plans. You will take a proactive approach, have excellent project management skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Overall, your expertise and contributions make a meaningful impact on the Reward function and support the achievement of Sainsbury's Bank's goals.
