Our client is a fast growing and ambitious multisited practice with a modern approach to accounting. They have a great staff retention rate and we have had excellent feedback from staff weve placed with them. This is a hybrid working position where youll work from up to 4 days a week.
This role is suited towards an experienced and technically competent Payroll Supervisor or an experienced Payroll Administrator or Payroll Senior. The successful candidate for this Payroll Supervisor job in Kent will oversee the payroll for a diverse portfolio of clients and be a great support to the wider team and Partners.
They use BrightPay software and theyre happy for candidates to work on a hybrid or remote basis.
- Manage multiple payrolls for a diverse client portfolio.
- Support the team in respect of processes relevant to payroll and benefits.
- Managing queries related to tax benefits salary allowances.
- Managing P11D s and Annual Returns.
- CIS Returns.
- Processing P60s P45s start letters and induction documentation.
- Auto enrolment processes.
- Act as a mentor and leader to junior members of the team.
- Knowledge of statutory pay claims and processes.
- The ability to help grow and develop the firm s payroll offering.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of leading Payroll for a varied client portfolio. (150200 clients)
- Strong attention to detail.
- A cando attitude to problemsolving.
- Selfmotivated with managing your own workload.
- Good communication skills.
- A team player able to mentor or work with other team members.
- Motivated with high standards.
- This is a hybrid working position where youll work from up to 4 days a week.

This position will sit within a very experienced and large payroll team so you will be surrounded by fantastic support. Experience with practice/ bureau payroll software. You will be a technically proficient Payroll Administrator who has a minimum of 2 years or more experience in Payroll. You must have accountancy practice experience or payroll bureau experience.
