Project Summary
We are seeking a talented, organised and empathetic individual to work closely as part of a busy and supportive team here at CoLab, by assisting colleagues in our thriving and rapidly developing community Hub by being a primary point of contact for the charity and provide administrative support to the CoLab team.
Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate and connect with a diverse range of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, as there will be instances of dealing with challenging behaviour from our visitors, some of whom have complex backgrounds and needs. This is a busy, varied and interesting role where no two days are the same.

Role Summary & Key Responsibilities
The post holder will work with the whole team to ensure our Hub runs smoothly and that our team and projects are supported well. We require a can-do attitude, the ability to use previous experience and initiative to prioritise a varied workload, meet deadlines, and set up accurate and efficient systems of work.
Supported by both the Hub Connections & Business Support Lead and People & HR Lead, the post holder will form a key part of our administration team, primarily taking a lead on finance and HR administration. This will also include work surrounding people and place, premises, project administration and co-ordinating Hub events and activities.
Demonstrating our values of welcome, compassion and collaboration, we are looking for people who are good communicators, who can relate to, and communicate easily with, people at all levels in a friendly and inclusive way, and who are happy to get involved with all aspects of our work.
If you have an excellent telephone manner, strong customer service skills and the ability to respond as the first point of contact handling challenging and, at times, difficult situations, coupled with strong administrational, organisational, timekeeping and IT skills, including Microsoft packages, we would love to hear from you.
