The post will work within the National Institute for Health and care Research (NIHR) Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) South West Peninsula, usually referred to as PenARC, in the University of Exeters Faculty of Health & Life Sciences.It is funded partly by PenARCs grant from NIHR, and partly by a grant from NHS Digital Academy to support delivery of the Heath Service Modelling Associates (HSMA) programme.
The role will provide general and specialist administrative support across varied activities within the South West Peninsula's Applied Research Collaboration (PenARC).One of 15 Applied Research Collaborations (ARCs) funded by the National Institute for Health and care Research (NIHR), PenARC is a large research group based across a number of organisations.We work closely with health and social care professionals, members of the public and local communities in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset to address immediate issues facing the health and care system through applied research and ensure the needs of our regional population are met.
