This is an exciting time for Adult Social Care as we move into a new structure and new operational arrangements, ensuring that our services are fit for the future, with a focus on all age approaches and individual outcomes to develop independence, alongside place based and partnership working with both internal and external partners.
Following the reorganisation of our Adult Social Care portfolios, applications are invited for the role of Group Manager - Financial Services and Operational Resilience.
Working closely with other Group Manager colleagues, you will ensure that services are meeting statutory duties and regulatory requirements and that our delivery is of high quality and reflects best practice, making decisions and solving problems in a fast paced and complex service environment.
You will also lead and contribute to the transformation of services in line with the Council’s strategic priorities and embed our Owning and Driving Performance programme across the department.
This newly created role has responsibility for providing leadership, management and strategic direction to the development and delivery of a range of functions and services, including:
Adult Care Financial Services including Appointeeship and Deputyship teams - overseeing the delivery of high-quality support to people who use services and their carers, whilst maximising income due to the Council. Departmental risk, operational resilience, and emergency response - bringing together current and new risk management arrangements whilst developing a new approach to operational resilience and emergency response. Quality and compliance of CQC regulated services - developing, leading, and managing a new quality, compliance and training framework for CQC regulated provider services across the Council.If you think you have the right skills, experience, and qualifications for the role alongside a high degree of personal drive and enthusiasm, then this could be the job for you.
