About the Opportunity

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in systems engineering management for digital and data projects through the entire systems lifecycle. You will report into the business unit's senior technical management and market heads and will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of digital projects across our Critical National Infrastructure and Defence portfolios. Our work includes delivering Digital Transformations both for clients and internally within our own organisation.
Specific responsibilities are as follows:
  • Overseeing technical responses for a large and complex tenders
  • Engineering management of tenders and contracted work to ensure appropriate quality
  • Defining appropriate engineering processes for programme execution
  • Engineering estimation (bid phase and execution phase)
  • Engineering planning across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Engineering resource allocation and coordination

Here's what you'll need:
  • Experience in Systems Engineering with proven success in both project delivery and winning new business
  • In-depth understanding of ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288
  • Understanding of the business winning processes and ability to analyse and solve complex problems
  • Hold current SC or DV clearance

Desirables
  • Systems Engineering QA and/or a background in data engineering (including Information Management Systems), data science, and analytics
  • Experience working in the civil nuclear sector
  • Line management for multi-disciplinary teams
  • Managed service provision (ITIL, ITSM, ISO20001, SIAM)
