We are looking for a hard-working individual to join our team at the Elba Sports Complex. The role as a Recreation Assistant ideally requires some previous experience in outdoor facilities, maintenance of pitches and experience with cash handling.

In the day-to-day operations of the facility you will manage pitch bookings, replenish the vending machines, support setting up events, general health & safety and maintenance of the site to ensure a clean and safe environment for all staff and customers.

Hours: Casual hours, as and when required.

Requirements
  • To lead the day to day running of the facility to the highest standard
  • To provide a safe and clean environment for all staff and customers
  • To manage any issues which arise on shift
  • To follow company procedures such as unlocking/locking the premises, issuing floats/cashing up tills
  • To assist with the Food & Beverage sales
  • To assist with administrative support for the facilities key operational functions including financial, health & safety, pitch bookings and events
  • To support setting up events
  • To liaise with colleagues in Penyrheol to report issues, stock requests and checking in
  • To do daily facility inspections
