About the role

In this role you will be working as part of the Auto-Spray and Instant Action team, working on new fragrance validation projects as well as technical support for new auto-spray devices within the AirCare team.

This is a dynamic role responsible for managing and implementing assigned projects, with exposure to key stakeholders, partners and other functions within Reckitt. In this role the ownership and leadership skills are strongly required, together with a strong technical knowledge.

Your responsibilities

-Develop comprehensive testing plans.

-Use key consumer needs to generate viable product concepts, leveraging new or existing technologies, scientific principles and methods.

-Ability to mitigate project risks and connect with subject experts to resolve issues.

-Support the auto-spray format (Active Fresh and Freshmatic) and understand the key consumer needs for the support of the product innovation pipeline.

-Deliver activities and projects on next generation and existing product development.

-Collaborate with device, packaging and fragrance teams, to ensure that projects and technologies are supported and transferred seamlessly to become successful market launches.

-Ensure all paperwork and key documentation is in placed based on the corresponding SOPs.

-Mentor and coach junior members of the team.

-Identify growth & innovation opportunities on existing products

-Collaborate on projects with cross functional teams such as Marketing, Supply, Project Management and SQRC.

-Liaise with technical development and supply chain colleagues to ensure completion of all activities.

The experience we're looking for

-A Scientific Degree with strong technical knowledge.

-Knowledge of project management, including timeline building.

-Ability to interpret results from lab tests through statistical analysis of testing data.

-Understanding of the qualification requirements of R&D validation & production success criteria.

-Proven communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently deliver presentations.

-Track record of assessing and solving complex problems.

-Interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to translate technical language to non-technical colleagues.

-Strong intellectual curiosity, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
