**R&D Associate - Veet**

**Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire**

This role is responsible for new product development for the Veet brand, working with other business functions to develop consumer preferred products. Providing detailed technical input into all aspects of support for the Veet portfolio, lead technical projects across a range of product formats.

**You’ll be responsible for**
- Technical and strategic project lead for several projects - working within an R&D team accountable for delivery of NPD/EPD/BDI projects through effective planning and management of functional work
- Representing R&D as an active member of the cross functional team
- Ensuring all technical work is performed on time, in budget and to required standards and cost
- Performing required lab work and providing guidance / assistance to other team members as required to achieve project milestones
- Building detailed technical knowledge of respective area of product portfolio and leverage this within day-to-day activities
- Communication and project updates to Senior Management

**You’ll succeed because you have**
- Experience in delivery of NPD / EPD with some project management
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary project team, building cross functional relationships with excellent partnership skills
- Good knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of formulation science
- Proven technical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage others
- Experience of line management and/or development of individuals is preferred but nor essential
