About the role

Elevate your career with Reckitt as our next Assistant Supply Accountant. Here, you'll be the financial cornerstone that keeps our supply chain robust and efficient. Your day-to-day involvement will range from budgeting to strategic analysis, ensuring our operations run seamlessly and cost-effectively. Your responsibilities

In summary, you'll:

-Business partner with engineering and operational teams to to prepare budgets and forecast, proactively highlight any risks and opportunities.

-Support Operational Finance Lead with budget areas areas of conversion cost and provide detailed explanation on key variances to plan, forecasts latest views and flash.

-Support the financial preparation of the annual plan for areas of responsibility to cover labour, depreciation based on site capital investment, energy & utilities, repairs and maintenance and fixed costs.

-Liaise with engineering team to conduct asset verification on Hull site and for all assets reported on balance sheet.

-Work closely with key members of the site and finance team, to ensure the financial integrity of the SAP system and that its use is in line with the corporate model.

· Responsible for financial controls within area and ensure audit ready from a financial control perspective.

The experience we're looking for

- Part Qualified accountant

- A strong foundation in accounting and / or business administration.

- Effective communication skills.
- Sharp analytical skills coupled with a results-focused approach and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and internal controls.
- Skilled in strategic thinking and risk management, with a flair for engaging and influencing stakeholders.

- Ability to build constructive work relationships and work as part of a team.
