Research Manager, Senior Executive Recruitment

Job Title: Research Manager, Senior Executive Recruitment
Location: Any UK site considered. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Circa £55,000
What you'll be doing:
- Developing an in-depth understanding of the organisation and talent needs across all areas of the business, collaborate with senior executive stakeholders to design and deliver effective recruitment strategies for often niche and hard to fill positions
- Conducting research projects to identify and engage top-tier executive talent for key leadership positions within the organisation. Utilizing various sourcing methods to build robust pipelines of high-calibre candidates for current and future requirements
- Evaluating and speaking with potential candidates; effectively communicate the value proposition of the organisation and the specifics of senior executive roles, including screening interviews
- Producing high quality mapping, status reports and candidate appraisals documents
- Maintaining accurate and organised records of candidate interactions, research findings and recruitment activities via available technology platforms
- Diary management, scheduling meetings and interviews for the senior executive recruiter and hiring managers. Working closely with senior executive EA's to arrange suitable times, dates and venues
- Co-ordinating candidate and hiring manager communications and regularly update during live processes, including presenting recommendations to hiring managers and the senior executive recruitment lead
- Staying up to date on industry trends, market intelligence, and best practices in executive recruitment to improve efficiency and effectiveness in both recruitment and as a company/brand ambassador, engaging with senior executives at networking events and industry conferences
Your skills and experiences:
- Proven ability to build effective and collaborative relationships with senior executive stakeholders
- Commercially astute, with the gravitas to engage, communicate, present and act as a strategic advisor on executive recruitment matters up to board/ Exec committee level
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, tools and technologies. Familiar with LinkedIn, ATS/ CRM Systems and other recruitment platforms & sourcing tools
- Outstanding planning and time management abilities, coupled with strong research and reporting skills, demonstrating a consistent track record of adding value to recruitment strategies
- A collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and stakeholders across all business units, at all seniority levels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate about all things talent acquisition and achieving overall business success with a strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace
- Experience working within a senior executive search firm would be advantageous but not essential

Reporting to the Senior Executive Recruitment Lead and a key member of the HR Total Talent COE team, this position plays a critical role in identifying, attracting and securing top-tier senior executive talent for key leadership positions within BAE Systems PLC whilst ensuring a continued focus on delivering exceptional hiring manager and candidate experiences.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to work closely with the executive committee and BAE's divisional leadership teams to recruit at an executive level, playing a key role in shaping the future of the business.
