Scottish Power is embarking on a Cyber Security Transformation Programme. We're looking for Cyber Governance Lead to help define, implement, and manage the Cyber Governance Model across ScottishPower, as well as ensure the Cyber Security Policies, Frameworks, Rules, and Methodologies are adequately designed and socialised with the Business.

What you'll be doing

This role sits within the 2nd Line of defense and ensures risks are effectively in line with our Cyber Risk Policy, Framework, Methodology, and Appetite. It plays a critical part in helping define the Cyber Security Strategy, providing essential information related to cyber security risks.

You'll help define and implement our Cyber Security Governance Model, as well as our Data Governance Model & Cyber Governance Model, ensuring our cyber security is being properly managed and governed across all areas.

You'll get the opportunity to lead and coordinate the production of UK Cyber Governance Committee Papers, manage the Cyber Rule Exception Procedure, and build and maintain strong relationships with Global and Local Colleagues.

Working collaboratively across the international companies within the Iberdrola Group, you'll help to deliver strategic security solutions, supporting the Head of Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Assurance to achieve Global Cyber objectives.

A key part of the role will involve embedding good practice security risk management principles and supporting risk management activities across the business, providing expert advice on cyber security risk and governance.

What you'll bring Knowledge and experience of Cyber Security as evidenced by relevant industry qualifications (e.g. GICSP, CISSP, CISM) Experience in developing and leading Cyber Security Risk Management and Governance in an organisation of similar scope and scale to ScottishPower, with previous Security Management experience in a global organisation preferred. Knowledge of risk assessing cyber security risks Experience writing Cyber Policies Awareness of key legislation and regulation impacting the delivery of IT and OT Cyber Security in an energy utility.
