The University of Central Lancashire wishes to recruit a Management Accountant to join the Financial Planning & Accounting Team.

The role is to lead the Management Accounts Team in delivering Monthly Management Accounts and supporting the Quarterly Forecast and Annual Budgeting process.

Working in tandem with the Finance Business Partners you will supply a standardised reporting and analysis suite across the portfolio of Faculty and Service Budget Holders and provide financial support, budget setting, strategic planning & review, and operational delivery.

The position will draw on the successful candidate's previous experience of providing management accounting reporting, data validation and analysis to both finance and non-finance managers. They will build trusted relationships to ensure corporate financial strategies are aligned with Budget Holder delivery plans.

In exciting times for the University in the evolving Higher Educational and Training sector, this role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced developing role, enhancing the financial support provided by FP&A to assist the ongoing growth and development of UCLan.

The successful candidate will be AAT Level 4/Part qualified and studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) and have advanced excel skills and experience of disciplined management accounting and forecasting processes..
