Key Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will:
- Debt Management: Proactively oversee and recover outstanding debts from clients, ensuring prompt payments.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable and address discrepancies efficiently.
- Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients through various channels to resolve payment issues or inquiries.
- Credit Evaluation: Perform credit evaluations and set credit limits for both new and existing clients.
- Credit Documentation: Generate and process credit notes as necessary.
- Client Statements: Prepare and distribute monthly statements to clients, summarizing account activities and outstanding balances.
- Reporting: Compile regular reports on debtors, payment statuses, and credit risks, presenting findings to management.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of all credit control activities and client interactions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance credit control processes and implement best practices.
Qualifications:
We prefer candidates with 1-2 years of experience in accounts administration, receivables, payables, or credit control roles, though this is not mandatory. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred:
- A relevant degree or certification in finance, accounting, or economics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Comfort with accounting software usage.
