Summary/Job Purpose

Looking for an Analyst or Associate (depending on experience) to work directly for two Managing Directors, and from time to time a Vice President and/or Director, on a project by project basis to support Managing Directors in the Investment Banking Team in the origination and execution of Corporate Broking transactions. To provide support and guidance to Interns and Analysts, as required.

Role Responsibilities
  • Financial modelling analysis, including valuation and assessing the financial impact of transactions;
  • Analysing industry and sector trends, commercial analysis of individual businesses and case studies of transactions;
  • Involved in drafting and reviewing marketing materials and other documentation including pitches, management presentations, valuation papers and prospectus documentation to specified deadlines;
  • Supervising Analysts in collating comments from clients and other advisers on materials produced and producing revised materials, with liaison with the relevant regulatory bodies if appropriate;
  • Responsible for review of day to day RNS announcements for allocated clients and have awareness of UKLA / AIM rules
  • Day to day contact with corporate clients, advising on share price movements, market trends and producing market reports on share trading, sector movements and reviewing investor feedback
  • Overseeing transaction process management, supporting Managing Directors to ensure parties keep to deadlines, and that legal, accounting and other process issues are anticipated and addressed; expected to attend most meetings, and to work directly with the client's Finance Director and other senior management.
    Our Ideal Candidate
    • 2 years previous Corporate Broking experience.
    • Degree educated with a minimum 2:1 and good A-Levels (or equivalent qualifications).
    • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Highly organised and reliable, self-starter, motivated and ambitious.
    • Team player capable of fitting in with the culture.
    • Strong valuation and financial modelling capabilities.
    • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
