What is the opportunity?

  • Act as the Senior Manager for the Talent Cycle team, supporting Europe, UK, and the Channel Islands.
  • Owning the end-to-end execution of processes: screening, pre-employment, onboarding, and management of employee contracts, including the life cycle processes (job change, leaves, retirements), and the standardisation, compliance and technology enhancement of Talent Cycle services across RBC globally.
  • Leading a team of regional employees that are responsible for delivering on experiences regionally.

What will you do?

  • Provide strategic leadership, oversight, and vision for service delivery, while driving compliance, standardisation, and efficiency in line with global processes & technology.
  • Work with Global Talent Cycle Leads to define and provide input to performance metrics / targets, service level agreements, and talent needs.
  • Empower and enable regional teams to deliver screening, pre-employment, onboarding, and employee contracts services, in addition to talent cycle processes (job change, leaves, retirement, memos).
  • Provide day-to-day leadership of Regional Specialists, providing ad-hoc and scheduled coaching, training, and learning, as required.
  • Leverage best-practices from Global Talent Cycle Leads to continuously improve and streamline services.
  • Provide oversight based on legal / regulatory requirements that impact services.
  • Ensure end-to-end process compliance with corporate data administration, securities standards, and HR policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Global Talent Cycle Leads and other Talent Services leads to develop, evolve, and solution pain points for Talent Cycle processes.
  • Collaborate with Global Talent Cycle Leads, CWM, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and HR Advice to ensure services continuously connect to overall HR Service Delivery and that processes are integrated and seamless.

What do you need to succeed?


Must have

  • Deep expertise in end-to-end HR processes, including foundational Workday acumen.
  • Strong Operational Execution and understanding.
  • Deep expertise in specific HR policies, regulations, and requirements (e.g. labour law requirements).
  • Strong organisational awareness and understanding of how regional Talent Cycle work is connected to overall talent services experience, HR-wide programs, and RBC policies.
  • Strong leadership and talent management skills; ability to coach teams through complex talent lifecycle scenarios.
