Southport College is looking for a Lecturer in Foundation Learning to assist with the delivery of our NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) provision.

As a Lecturer in Foundation Learning, you will teach mainly on our NEET provision 16-18 courses, supporting and guiding individuals who are not engaged in education, employment, or training and assisting them with reintegration into these areas.

Your role involves providing personalised educational support, mentoring, and guidance to help NEET individuals acquire the necessary skills, qualifications, and confidence to pursue further education, gainful employment, or vocational training opportunities.

The main provision is accredited and non-accredited up to Level 1 life and work skills.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will possess a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to undertake in-service training. Previous experience of working with learners with learning difficulties/disabilities is essential, whilst previous teaching experience is desirable.
