This individual will work cross functionally to understand our ESG programs and key metrics so that they can scale our regulatory ESG reporting infrastructure.

You will be responsible for delivering Amazon's regulatory ESG reports in a rapidly evolving global regulatory environment.

This will involve establishing external reporting processes, collecting key metrics from partner teams, drafting disclosures, and presenting the results to senior leadership on legal, accounting and finance teams.

You will work cross functionally with worldwide sustainability, legal and finance to ensure disclosures are clear, transparent, and provide the right level of context to users of the information.

To do well in this role, you must be able to confidently handle complex projects and provide a point of view in situations of high ambiguity.

You must also show good judgment and continually improve Amazon's reporting processes, and keep up to date on emerging ESG reporting requirements and best practices

  • Work with worldwide sustainability subject matter experts to understand our calculation methodology, and draft transparent disclosures for inclusion in our voluntary and regulatory ESG reporting. These disclosures will need to meet the requirements of external reviewers and will provide a transparent summary of Amazon's criteria and methodology used to calculate key metrics (i.e. Net zero, 100% Renewable Energy, GHG emissions, waste, water usage).
