About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager/Sustainability Lead to join our team at DGH Recruitment. This is a permanent position that will play a crucial role in driving our client's sustainability initiatives forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all reporting, including annual sustainability reports, SRS, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement technical sustainability strategies, leveraging expertise in LCA, BREEAM, and SAP.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively, fostering strong relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Bring a background in consultancy/development, with a deep understanding of the construction cycle from planning stage.
  • Design and develop strategic sustainability plans, driving business growth and reducing environmental impact.
  • Apply principles of Net Zero, Life Cycle Assessment, Home Quality Mark, Biodiversity Net Gain, and BREEAM to drive sustainability initiatives.
  • Prioritize experience in the Housing sector/construction industry, with a proven track record of success.
Requirements
  • Technical sustainability expertise, with a strong understanding of LCA, BREEAM, and SAP.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Background in consultancy/development, with a deep understanding of the construction cycle.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing strategic sustainability plans.
  • Experience developing projects and applying sustainability principles.
  • Prior experience in the Housing sector/construction industry is essential.
