Up to £65,000Butler Rose Public Practice are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity which is now available for a qualified and experienced client accountant to join a well established accountancy firm in Eastleigh as a Senior Manager. Directly assisting the MD and Owner, you will take part in business decisions and help shape the future of the practice. This role will independently manage a portfolio of diverse clients, preparing all statutory accounts, and completing VAT returns and corporation tax. In addition, you will manage a small team of long term employees, assisting with technical and client queries as and when required. People management is not essential but an excellent eye for detail, a consultative manner, excellent communication skills, and a proven history of managing a portfolio of accounts clients is required. The practice is split into two departments, outsourcing and accounting services. Due to the firms culture, they enjoy long term and loyal relationships with a variety of clients.     Requirements:
    • Ideally ACCA / ACA qualified but part qualified will be considered
    • Experience working for a UK based accountancy firm is essential
    • Proven experience independently managing a portfolio of diverse clients.
    • Experience preparing statutory accounts, VAT returns, management accounts, and corporation tax.
    • Excellent communications skills and the ability to speak with clients.
    • Excellent attention to detail is essential.
