Ravensbourne is looking to recruit an additional Disability Coordinator to join our Student Services Team.

Working with wellbeing and study skills staff they are responsible for the collection and sharing of highly confidential information on student support needs, to Student Services and key stakeholders both internal and external to the University.

The Disability Coordinator must also be skilled in a complex picture of different support to students who may face real struggles to understand what can be put in place to improve their studies.

A champion for inclusion and engagement across Ravensbourne the Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring the quality of our direct delivery, training and information sharing and meeting our legal responsibilities as a provider of non-medical help.

This role will ensure that students with disabilities and complex support needs have the opportunity and resources necessary to be successful in their studies, achieving equally, if not more, than their colleagues without similar support challenges.

The Coordinator will manage complex student support cases, support the finance process with Disabled Student Allowance and intervene and support students who encounter challenges within their academic experience at Ravensbourne.

This role is also an important part of the whole student journey and some work over weekends and evenings may be required to help support inductions, open days and graduations.
